An Abstract Illusion, Last Stop: Copenhagen

The last but not least of the stops I attended of An Abstract Illusion’s Scandinavian shows landed in Copenhagen!

Both Disillusion and An Abstract Illusion have, by this stop, shown both the technical skill and the emotional connection to their crafts, to repeat it at the same quality yet still providing that unique, in-the-moment nuance of emotional connection to it!

On this leg of the tour, Feather Mountain had the pleasure to open the evening! And it was ours to enjoy :D A powerful progressive groove, mixing elements of bands such as TOOL and TesseracT, jumping seamlessly between clean melodies and distorted heaviness. A beautiful interplay between bass and guitar, leading each other. The drums drive much of the force and intensity behind each song, which is then tied together with the string section by vocals matching and carrying the story of the song with gracious, clean harmonies as well as gut-wrenching screams.
