**Seeing the Spirit of the North**

Tina's photographs reveal more than just beautiful scenery; they capture the atmosphere and quiet spirit of the places she encounters. For instance, her image "Still Waiting" depicts an island suspended between the foggy water and sky. Her work invites us to pause and experience the North not only as a landscape but as something profoundly alive. She is captivated by Canada's northern wilderness, its history, dramatic weather, wildlife, and the stories of the people who inhabit these regions. This curiosity shines through in every photograph she creates.

**The Search for Creativity**

Photography is just one aspect of Tina's creative journey. She is equally interested in exploring deeper questions regarding creativity and meaning. To explore these questions, Tina engages in conversations with other creatives. Selected reflections from these discussions will also be featured in the magazine, providing readers with a glimpse into the minds of creative individuals from around the globe.

**A Citizen of the World**

Born in Germany and having lived in Central Asia and Ukraine, Tina now calls Canada home. This multicultural background provides her with a unique perspective shaped by a variety of experiences. Her time living in different parts of the world has heightened her sensitivity to details that others may overlook. Approaching each new place with curiosity, openness, and respect allows her to capture the essence of the landscapes and communities she encounters. It is this perspective that makes experiencing Canada through her eyes so exciting.

**Manitoba: A Special Place**

Having spent the last decade in Canada, including five unforgettable winters in Manitoba, Tina expresses, "Manitoba left an absolutely unforgettable trace in my heart." Living in Winnipeg, a city known for its long, cold winters, deepened her connection to the North. It was there that she truly fell in love with Canada's northern spirit. "I love travel and adventure, and I kept exploring from day one," she adds.

**Stories from Canada's Hidden North**

Tina's series introduces readers to places that many people, even Canadians, know very little about. From Winnipeg to the remote town of Churchill, which has no roads connecting it to the rest of Canada, her stories reveal a part of the country that remains largely unknown to many.

Readers can look forward to glimpses of the magical northern lights, powerful winters, vibrant forests, changing seasons, and serene moments in nature. Through her photographs and reflections, we are invited to experience not just the beauty of the North but also its resilience, mystery, and enduring sense of wonder.
