Artist Portraits No. 1
BERLIN, 2026. This article/digital exhibit showcases black-and-white portraits of musician Winfried Strauss, captured by photographer and Vinkeln creator Sara Rosenberg, accompanied by Winfried's music.
Winfried blends minimalist piano with electronic elements, and he has recently incorporated a drum machine into his setup alongside the synthesizer in his new composition, "Ivory Concrete."
Some of the photos in the gallery link to Winfried's YouTube channel and feature his recent tracks. He composes, records, and produces his music independently.
The portraits, along with much of Sara's other portrait and documentary-style work, are inspired by the French photographer, artist, and photojournalist Henri Cartier-Bresson. He was known for capturing portraits in natural settings and candid moments, always in search of the "decisive moment."
